EDUCATION PRICES AND PAYMENT OPTIONS

Teaching Session Option

We offer a wide range of expertly-taught, cross-curricular teaching sessions to choose from. Have your students study our tropical seeds, food products and tribal artefacts to learn about the fascinating rainforest environment; have them become detectives and solve clues that lead to some of our most interesting and astounding plants; have them learn about and handle our unique and exotic animal collection, just to name a few. Teaching sessions link directly to the National Curriculum and can be tailored to fit any topic.

Off-peak (August – January): £8 per student for one teaching session (this price includes Gardens’ entry)

Peak (February – July): £9.50 per student per teaching session (this price includes Gardens’ entry)

All teaching sessions are available to view via our Teaching Sessions area of the website.

Payment Procedure

An invoice will be generated at time of booking, which must be paid at least four weeks before your visit date (or as soon as possible if your booking is within four weeks).

Goody Bags

Our Gift Shop and Garden Centre is always open for children and teachers to purchase any souvenirs of their day at the Gardens. However, if group leaders prefer not to visit the shop but would still like to make a purchase, then goody bags can be made up for collection instead. Please advise of your requirements on your booking form. (We are unable to invoice for any shop/goody bag purchases. These must be paid for on the day of your visit via credit/debit card.)

Self-guided Option

There is so much to see at the Gardens that you might just simply wish to explore the site independently, encouraging your students to touch, smell, look and listen to all the amazing plants, animals, and other features that you come across.

You can use as many of the free educational resources as you like, to help you structure your time at the Gardens. There are also four exciting Activity Packs available to hire (Musical Rainstorm, Tree-mendous Trees, Cryptic Orienteering & Ecological Sampling).

Off-Peak (August – January): £7 per student

Peak (February – July): £8.50 per student

Adult Prices
